How To Find What You're Looking For

If I was to ask you how you find what you're looking for on the Internet, what would you say?

If you're like most people, you'd probably say something like,

"Well, I just type what I'm looking for into a search engine
like Google and it brings back the results I want"

Now, let's take a look at what's actually happening here. You type in a word, and then Google filters out millions of irrelevant websites to show you just the websites you want. Pretty amazing don't you think?

What's even more amazing is that your mind works in exactly the same way!

There is a special part of your brain called the reticular activating system that filters out the world around you to show you exactly what you are looking for.

What this means is that if you're looking for love, happiness and opportunities, you will find them. Unfortunately it also means that if you are looking for hatred, misery and problems, you will find them too.

The reality is that we are surrounded by love AND hate, happiness AND misery, opportunites AND problems. What you experience in life all depends on what you type into the search engine of your mind.

This Week's Action Steps

Start each day with positive expectations. Make the decision to filter out the negative influences in your life and focus on the positive. Program your mental search engine with images of love, happiness and opportunity and let God (or the Universe if you prefer) deliver the results you are looking for.

Until next time,

Dare To Dream!
